The surest way to overspend on your vacation is to fail to set a budget. Know how much you can afford to spend on your vacation, and then determine how you’ll use that money toward RV rental, hotel, attractions, food, and so on.
You may not want to schedule every minute of your time away, but you’ll want to get at least your big decisions settled well in advance. Make sure you decide where you’re going, how you’re getting there, and “big things” you want to do while you’re there (like theme parks, attractions, shows, and so on).
Make the most of your vacation budget by looking for special offers, coupons, and discount codes. Don’t pay face value without doing at least a bit of searching. Many companies (including ours) feature special offers that give you additional savings.
A holiday week or weekend might seem to be ideal since you already have some built-in time off. However, if you’re going to a popular vacation destination, expect that you aren’t the only family with that logic. Many destinations are extremely busy around the holidays, so if you want to avoid the crowds, you may want to choose different vacation dates.
We would be remiss if we didn’t encourage Indianapolis residents or visitors to consider camping with us. Our campground features RV rentals as well as cabins, making it a comfortable and convenient way to enjoy the outdoors without having to mess with that tent. We have a number of things you can do right here, including a swimming pool, mini golf, game room, drive-in theatre, and more. Plus, we’re in close proximity to the Indianapolis area, so you can enjoy all that the greater metropolitan area has to offer.
To make some vacation plans with us, contact S&H Campground today at (317) 326-3208. We can help you book a site at our campground, reserve a motorhome rental, and more.
