The Campground of Campgrounds
Since the first camper pitched the first tent here in 1968, S&H Campground has been a place where families make memories. And the tradition continues. Owned and operated by the Hine family of nearby Greenfield, Indiana, S&H is proud to provide an impressive camping experience from setup to tear down.
Whether you take advantage of our pull-through RV sites with full hookups or opt for primitive camping along Sugar Creek, you’ll find an array of activities that sets us apart from other private campgrounds. And our natural setting — mature trees, stocked lake, and peaceful creek — makes it hard to believe we’re just 20 minutes from Indianapolis.

Families Come First at S&H
S&H is open year-round, but we really shine from April through October, when our weekend schedule of special events draws guests from near and far. From live music and magic shows to golf cart parades and holiday fireworks, we provide a camping experience you won’t soon forget. Treat the family to homemade ice cream after a day of swimming, or fuel your fun at our café and concessions. Parents also love our Family Fun Park, 12 acres of kid-friendly entertainment.
Not Like Other Private Campgrounds
S&H Campground takes service seriously. Our owners live on the property, and they take an active role in ensuring all guests enjoy their stay here — whether it’s for a night, a weekend, or the whole season. As everyday life accelerates and family time is harder to come by, it’s important to find activities you can enjoy together. Look no further than S&H, which distinguishes itself from the majority of campgrounds in Indianapolis and beyond.
