Spooky season is upon us, and it’s time to get your plans in order for Halloween! Before you know it, all the costumes will be sold out, the candy selection will dwindle, and you’ll be scrambling to find something fun to do with your family for Halloween. So don’t wait! Check out the events we have planned every weekend in October at S&H Campground!
At S&H, we believe in celebrating all month long, so the fun starts right away with the first weekend in October. Join us for our Garage Sale Trail Weekend which includes a garage sale hosted by our campers, ghost crafts in the activity center, and hayrides on the hill!
The second weekend in October is our Monster Mash Weekend! Join us for a monster scavenger hunt, craft a monster in the activity center, and take a hayride on the hill!
The third weekend in October is a great way to get more than one use out of your costumes. We have a haunted parade weekend planned with a haunted golf cart parade, trick-or-treating and hayrides on the hill, and special candy crafts in the activity center.
Weekend number 4 is when things really start to get spooky at S&H. Our Creepy Carving Weekend is perfect for the pumpkin carvers in your family! In addition to hayrides on the hill, we have a pumpkin carving contest where your fellow campers will choose the winner!
Finally, the last weekend of October is our Halloween Zombie weekend! We’ll have Zombie Prom, trick-or-treating, and a chili cook-off where once again, the people choose their favorite.
