Camping Fears Debunked

You’ve never been camping before, so you may have your reservations. In this busy, modern day world, it may be difficult for someone to imagine being pulled away from their routines for extended periods. However, it is possible to enjoy nature without the fear of giving up your standard of living. What most people do not realize is that Indianapolis is famous for secure camping grounds and fair camping ground fees. S&H Campground RV Rental & Service Center has been in the business since 1968 and can accommodate certain special requests. For more information, call (317) 326-3208, or contact us online.

1. You’ll Get Eaten by a Bear

One of the most common fears people have before they go camping is that they will be potential prey to dangerous wildlife. There are woodpeckers and rabbits bouncing around, but it is highly unlikely that a wild bear or wolf will approach a human or ever attack them. This does not mean that you should not behave responsibly by bringing food inside and staying close to a group.

2. You Will Have to Rough It

We know that it is hard to be away from the life of luxury, so to make your experience as comfortable as possible, S&H Campgrounds offers up-to-date RVs and motorhome rentals. S&H owns some of the most luxurious motorhomes in Indianapolis, so you can feel pampered and still enjoy nature.

3. You Will Have to Eat Pork and Beans

Another myth about camping is that you have to change the way you eat. This can be particularly concerning if you are on a diet or have certain dietary restrictions. However, you can put that myth to rest as our RVs are equipped with a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave. You’ll have all the amenities you are used to as you explore the camp life.

Camping is an experience you’ll never forget. Join us and explore the most beautiful parts of Indiana. Call S&H Campground RV Rental and Service Center at (317) 326-3208, and learn how to make your camping trip a time that you’ll never forget.
